You are here:  Home  ->  Identifier   ->  Varieties   ->  Watermarks

This scan has been reproduced from Kucharski's article. It should be approximately life-size.

I'm happy to substitute a better image if someone sends it to me.

Question: What does GA • MOES mean? (I assume it's the mark of a paper manufacturer in the town of Pilica. But which company?)

This image is from Milkuski [1968], and should also be approximately life-size.

But notice the differences:

Kronenberg's watermark image is much like (and maybe taken from) Kucharski's.

How many varieties of watermark exist for these stamps?

If only one, which one is it, or are Kucharski and Mikulski both wrong in some of these details? (Currently the articles are 2:1 in favor of the top illustration.)
